Tudor Black Bay GMT Watch Steel Bracelet 41mm
ONLY FOR COLLECTION FROM ONE OF OUR STORES.£2,830.00
Baselworld 2018 saw the presentation of the highly anticipated TUDOR Black Bay GMT. The famous Black Bay Divers’ watch dates back to 1954 and now features a new GMT function allowing two-time zones to be displayed simultaneously, with the ability to display a third.
Following previous Black Bay lines, the Black Bay GMT features a dial inspired by the heritage of the 1950’s models as well as adopting the characteristic angular hands form the 1969 catalogue; referred to as snow flake by TUDOR collectors. Again, TUDOR refer back to the Black Bays’ heritage by adding the traditional, large winding crown embossed with the iconic TUDOR Rose, that was featured on the first generation of TUDOR divers’ watches, enabling waterproofing of depths up to 200m (660 ft)
The stand out feature on the Black Bay GMT is the burgundy and blue 24-Hour bidirectional bezel, this is set upon a 41mm satin-brushed steel case. The twelve daylight hours are printed on the burgundy section and the night-time hours on the blue. In addition to the bezel is the red snow flake hand, this moves around the dial in a 24-hour motion, indicating the additional time zone.
A date display function is present at the 3 o'clock position, it’s important to know that the date will always stay at your local time. Luminescent hour markers are placed upon the black dial, ensuring the time can be read in the brightness of day or the darkest of conditions. Perfectly finished on the satin-brushed bracelet.
Powered by the manufacture Calibre MT5652 (COSC) self-winding mechanical movement, with a remarkable power reserve of up to 70 hours, the Black Bay GMT is a welcome addition to the famous Black Bay collection.
