Named after one of Britians first military aircraft manufactures, the ‘Aircraft Manufacturing Company Limited,’ Bremont launched the new Airco Mach line in 2017, a classically inspired pilots watch. The Airco collection saw Bremont move from their 43mm sized casing, to a smaller 40mm. Along with the change in diameter, the Airco Mach also saw the production of Bremont’s slimmest ever pilot’s watch, measured at a slender 12.5mm. Bremont have always dominated the field of pilot’s watches, yet had never produced a small, classically styled three-hand pilots watch, until the Airco.
The year 2018 marks 100 years of British military aviation and to celebrate this proud achievement Bremont have added a new line to the AIRCO collection, welcome the AIRO Mach 3. Coloured in the signature blue synonymous with the RAF, the AIRCO 3 is a heritage inspired, commemorative model, fittingly produced by a brand steeped in aviation history.
Although smaller (40mm) and thinner (12.5mm) than all other collections, the Airco Mach 3 is constructed from Bremont’s technical three-piece Trip-Tick® case, coated in the new DLC (Diamond like carbon) coating with a classic satin finish. The RAF blue coloured dial plays host to slender satin hands and Arabic Numeral index markers are filled with Super-LumiNova® ensuring greater legibility. A subtle date aperture also features at the 6 o’clock position. Finished on the blue nubuck leather strap, the celebrated heritage of British aviation military flows throughout this timepiece.
The steel and exhibition case back, reveals the BE-92AE automatic chronometer. Supplying the Bremont Airco Mach 3 with an excellent 38-hour power reserve.
